Slaying the Dragon of Prestige

Slaying The Dragon of Prestige is a series of works in praise of things widely considered mundane, routine, ordinary. It is a eulogy to the unspectacular and unglamorous, to activities, thoughts and feelings that promise neither prestige nor admiration.

All works are in oil and pencil on canvas grain paper (some with the addition of ink, black marker pen or sanguine pencil), 52 × 46 cm. All 2024.
