At the end of 2021, I left the UK, my home for 30 years. Returning to the country of my birth, by now an alien culture, unleashed a maelstrom of emotional and physical challenges. It raised questions of identity, home, alienation, purpose in life. The paintings created since bear witness to this drastic life change. The process continues and can be followed on Instagram.
