StinkNormal

… is a German word which so beautifully describes underwhelming normality.

“I like your work”, someone said recently. “But somehow it feels like – and I don’t mean this in a negative way – I have seen it before.”

And that's true.

We have all seen it before – the relaxed Sunday idler; the old guy smoking a cigar, dog on his lap; the worried thinker; an elderly woman eating; someone waiting in the kitchen for the coffeemaker to start hissing.

Could be you. Could be me. Could be anyone. Just StinkNormal.
